Horse Watch

There's nothing more daunting and heart breaking than arriving at your field to find the gate open and your horse stolen.

There's nothing more frustrating than finding your tack room ransacked and your expensive saddle gone.

That's why North Yorkshire Police are encouraging membership of their Horse Watch within the Selby District and therefore invite you to join what is be a pro active and preventative initiative to ensure the safety of the animals you care about.

If I register with Selby & District Horse Watch, what will the benefits be?

· Completion of the Ringmaster registration form will ensure you receive a recorded message/email regarding any horse related incidents or vehicles that have been seen in suspicious circumstances. This will endeavor to promote a higher level of awareness and act as an effective preventative measure in the battle against equestrian crime within the Selby District.

· Newsletters and other important literature will be distributed to keep you up to date with information that will help you to protect your horse, horsebox, trailer and equipment.
